Kerry Borcherding, MA, LPC

As far back as I can remember, my connection to the wilderness has shaped the way I view, connect, and respond to the world. Whether immersing myself in mountain forests or losing time and worry with horses, I discovered from a young age the healing, grounded, and supportive presence of nature. With age and increased responsibilities, this lesson proved essential to navigating the challenges of being alive. No matter the obstacles I have faced, the pain endured, it has been my intimate relationship to horses and open spaces that have continually helped me remember my own strengths, the preciousness of life, and a deep sense of belonging to this inexplicable world.

Having experienced the healing power of the wild, I could not help but seek to open others to their greatest potential by exploring the wilderness within. To offer the best possible guidance and skills to others, I complimented my personal lessons with an experiential therapeutic education in counseling psychology and a breath of positions working to bring humans and animals into relationship.
